FTA pants are inspired and lead by the classic wrap pant. Wrap pants are a simple, timeless pattern that require the wearer's in-depth participation when it comes to dressing them onto the body. Instead of flaring at the bottom hem, these pants flare in the middle, creating a rounded silhouette, and a taper at the ankle, where they can be worn cuffed or as is. All fabrics used are relatively thick, meant to hold the structured silhouette. 

There are two pairs of these, both made from the last of a roll of upholstery fabric I was lucky to pick up at a thrift store in Randburg at the end of 2023. There are a total of four of these pants (two sold in an earlier drop), and I've also used the fabric for the cushion and mattress coverings for the DIY 'couches' in my lounge. The larger pair makes use of both sides of the fabric. 

first pair fits S–L (up to a 40)

second pair fits XL–XXXL (up to a 46)

*Email me at [email protected] with any issues regarding purchases, and to enquire about sizing if necessary — items are often unique, and thus cannot always be replaced by the exact same thing in a different size. However, I haven't tested out my largest size on enough body types yet, so please come and try them on if you are in Johannesburg. And otherwise, there is potential to arrange a swap if the pants don't fit properly. 

If you are unhappy with your order because of damage or some unforeseen problem with the garment itself (something that seems to be my fault), return and refund or store credit can be arranged. If you are unhappy with the product for some other reason, but there is nothing ‘wrong’ with it, you can arrange your own return, and receive store credit to spend on something else… Any issues should be communicated within a week of receipt please.
